We are delighted to welcome Sydney Wong and John Li as interns to our lab. Their addition promises to bring fresh perspectives and energy to our team.
Sydney hails from Malaysia and is currently a third-year bachelor’s student at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her academic journey includes an impressive exchange stint at Cornell University, USA. At our lab, Sydney will undertake her final year project, focusing on CRISPR and the prokaryotic immune system, which is sure to be a valuable experience.
John, from China, is also a third-year bachelor’s student studying at the University of Toronto, Canada. With a keen interest in the biological sciences, John is particularly excited about immersing himself in the vibrant international traditions of Singapore. He has traveled all the way from Toronto to participate in a summer program at our lab, where he will be involved in a CRISPR project.
We hope that Sydney and John's time with us will be enriching and that their passion for science will grow even deeper during their stay. Welcome aboard, Sydney and John! Horay!🎉🎉🎉
